On these pages, I will showcase the spectacular artistry and creativity of miniaturists who have used my little people to bring life to their miniature dreams. They commissioned me to create the folks. Based on our collaborative ideas and working together, we've created just the right character for each vignette, roombox or dollhouse

Beth Bergman used my "barfly" (lady in blue) to add a bit of life to her favorite bar in New Orleans. She has added many patrons from other doll artists to join in the fun..
Marsha Muscka created the beautiful Ladies Hat Shoppe. She thought my Laura would look lovely shopping for new stockings since her's seems a bit worn. Marsha made many of the items herself.
Karen Niklaus creates fabulous vignettes filled with lots of details! Here's her scene of a garage sale. She wanted a harried Mom shopping with a toddler on her hip and a little girl begging for a dolly.
Ruth Stoddard was creating this stunning nursery vignette and needed "her family" to make it complete. Working from photographs, I sculpted little replica's of Ruth and her little ones! Ruth won first place when she exhibited this beautiful memorybox.
Tammy Whitthaus made this small vignette under a glass dome. It's wonderful. She and I worked together on her vision of an old man sitting on a park bench feeding pigeons. Small, but it speaks volumes!
Mary Wrenn created this lovely scene in a discarded medicine cabinet. It depicts a doctor's office on the top level and his examining room on the floor below. It was just exhibted in the St Louis show 2001..
In this scene, Mary uses a picnic basket to tell the story of little Red riding hood. She divided it in half, one side shows Lil Red knocking on the door with her basket of goodies. The other shows the Wolf in bed pretending to be Grandma. You can see several shots of this fabulous vignette by viewing Mary's Website..
Welcome To Tony's Music Shop is the title of this fabulous room box created by Margie Najera. Margie commissioned me to do a portrait doll of her son, Tony who is a musician. She has outfitted this shop with wonderful instruments and other fine miniature supplies found in a modern music store. She did a fabulous job on the exterior of this shop.and an exceptional job finishing the interior, don't you agree? Notice that Tony is hosting our virtual tour. .
Debra Mitchell re-created a scene from her favorite book, The Tommyknockers by Stephen King. She depicts the scene where Bobbie is digging in the woods and discovers large glowing rocks. Debra wanted her "Bobbie" to be sweaty, with damp hair, a bit dirty and her head slightly looking over her shoulder as if startled by a noise. Debra laminated a large paper mache box with a photocopy of the actual cover. Each letter of the title was printed to cardstock, cut out and individually applied. This is Debra's first time creating landscaping. She did a fabulous job!
Here is an example of Contemporay Modern decor at it's best! Here, Debra has decorated this condo roombox in absolute splendor, using the stark contrast of black and white. There are many, many details not to be overlooked. The unique lighting fixtures were created by Debra. She thought a glamorous lady in a full length fur coat would suit these oppulent surroundings perfectlty. .
Karen Niklaus created this great attic with absolutely wonderful details. Notice all the treasures stored for discovery years later. Karen wanted two little girls playing dressup after uncovering some really neat stuff..hats, feather boas and of course, Mom's high heel shoes.
Most of us really don't like going to the Dr's office, but this one is really wonderful. Here, Karen has created her office in two parts. One side is the patient's waiting room. The other side features a concerned Mom fretting over her little boy who has a broken leg. Doctor has good news..the cast comes off soon. With the exception of the boy and doctor, all other dolls were Karen's ideas! Wonderful imagination!
Karen is currently working on this one. It's turning out to be a really grungey alley. We've got Henrietta, the bag lady done and her "homeless drunk" Karen's vision for him was a thin, heavily soiled, unshaven guy that's sort of reclining in the doorway. She still has lots of details yet to do, but I think this one is gonna be my favorite!
This was the recent workshop offered at the Gulf Show this year. Karen has filled it to the brim with lots of mini treasures that have found a new home. Notice all the details. Karen ordered the Garage Sale Queen just for this vignette. She already has a few things she's ready to haggle for.
Barbara Strickland is creating a spectacular Victorian home. She features my elegant Matron in this room.
In the sitting parlor, my demure ingenue is waiting to meet with her aunt. Barbara wanted her to look timid and a bit apprenhensive since her aunt is very prim and proper and this would be their first meeting. I love Barb's collection of beautiful Victorian pieces.
This little Antique shop was created by Briar Picchetti as a club project. It's beautiful. She commissioned a granny and positioned her beautifully as she exits the shop after a good day of bargin shopping
Pat Creagh created this marvelous vignette as a club project. It took home a ribbon. It is a replicae of Marshall Fields department store window. The toymaker actually revolves. She wanted a little boy to stare longingly at the window. This is one you must see in person...marvelous!
Marti Winzeler created this lovely outdoor vignette .She used three of my figures. On the porch is a little girl on a swing. She waiting while the little redheaded boy musters the courage to give her a lovely bouquet of flowers. Her Dad is busy at the grill. Wonderful story told by the figures..
Kari Bloom commissioned Dr Dan as a suitor for her lovely Victorian widow. Dr Dan has been left waiting in the parlor since he's checking his pocketbook for the time. It appears the widow is taking a bit longer than he's accustomed to..
Evelyn Tucker wanted to recreate her childhood. memories. We worked together to create figures to represent her as a teen and the cook and gardener that she adored.
Rick is about to be paroled. He couldn't
be happier. The roombox was created by Barbie Cohn. It has been published in AM mini magazine and is also on tour . Wonderful job,Barbie!!
