These were the dolls (except the lady) that I submitted for consideration for Artisan status. All of them were already sculpted for a client who had created a barber shop and needed patrons. We had worked together to developed the ideas for each character and I was just about to complete the order when my mother became ill. After moving my Mom home to live with me, she had to be hospitalized and I had to delay work. Meanwhile, I had completely forgot about the deadline for Artisan submissions. I finished off these dolls and submitted them. I found odds and ends at a hardware store to create my makeshift barber chair so that Timmy could sit. I was so thrilled to learn that I had made Artisan.....especially thrilled since I earned it doing  the work I usually do...nothing  out of the ordinary!! My client was absolutely thrilled to learn that she was the recipient of these exceptional dolls..said to be "outstanding in their field"!!
